- Only applies to full-time positions.We are currently looking for a talented Senior 3D Animator to join our tightly knit group ofartists and animators! The ideal candidate will have experience in games and a strong passionfor creating fun and exciting character and creature animations. You will work alongside ourworld-class animation team to create visually stunning animations for our upcoming and livegames!
- In order to be considered, you MUST provide us with a Demo Reel with examples of yourmost current acting and creature animation work. Along with your reel, you should provide ashot breakdown with an explanation of responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Consistently create and maintain high-quality animations for real-time 3D game assets.This includes short loops, locomotion cycles, and full cinematics with camera andcharacter or creature animations.Collaborate with the Lead Animator to refine and maintain the game's animation styleand feel.Responsible for managing and providing feedback to outsourcing.Be willing and capable of providing feedback, mentoring animators in some capacity.Able to provide detailed requests for and feedback on rigs.Expert in troubleshooting implementation issues.Able to maintain clean and organized work files.QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 5 years of experience animating characters using MayaSelf-motivated, an excellent communicator, a team player, and a winning mindset. Go togreat lengths to create outstanding work rather than settling for bare minimum.Skilled in 3D character animation for bipedal humanoids, creatures, and organic forms.Expertly apply animation principles to in-game animation : timing, acting, & bodymechanics.Technical experience working with Maya and game engines such as Unity or Unreal.Good understanding of humanoid and creature anatomy.Proven problem-solving and prototyping ability, collaborating within the animation teamand across adjacent teams.NICE TO HAVE
Has shipped AAA and / or mobile games as a 3D character animator.Great 2D animation skills.Film animation experience.A passion for video games.Experience in Shaders, FX or particle animation.Skill in one or more related disciplines – illustration, modeling, rigging, or technical art.
