Job Summary The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for managing shipping operations for specialty medications requiring delivery. This entry-level position offers hands-on training in a collaborative, casual work environment. The role involves physical activity, including standing for extended periods and handling shipping materials. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and ship approximately 100 packages per day, including cold chain shipments with ice packs.
- Stock and maintain refrigerators with ice and cold packs.
- Manage shipping supplies — ordering, receiving, and organizing inventory as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of specialty medications.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy shipping protocols and safety standards.
- Assist with other pharmacy support tasks as assigned.
- Be able and willing to stand for about half of the work shift.
- Lift and carry up to 10 lbs as part of daily tasks.
R equired Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.Active and unencumbered Pharmacy Technician License from the State.Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and remain on feet for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications (if any)
