Position Summary
We are seeking an innovative Automation Engineer to lead efforts in process improvement and advanced automation technologies across our manufacturing and production operations. This role will focus on identifying opportunities for automation, implementing cutting-edge solutions, and driving efficiency through smart systems integration. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial automation, robotics, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Design & Implementation
Develop and deploy automated systems for manufacturing and assembly processes.
Integrate robotics, PLCs, and advanced control systems to optimize production.
Evaluate emerging technologies (AI-driven automation, IoT, Industry 4.0) for applicability.
Process Improvement
Analyze existing workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Implement lean principles and Six Sigma tools to enhance productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize and streamline processes.
Technology Advancement
Research and recommend new automation technologies to improve scalability and flexibility.
Lead pilot projects for advanced automation solutions and assess ROI.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and cybersecurity protocols for automated systems.
Support & Maintenance
Provide technical support for automation equipment and troubleshoot issues.
Develop preventive maintenance plans for automated systems.
Train operators and technicians on new automation tools and processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering (or related field).
Experience : 3+ years in industrial automation, robotics, or process engineering.
Skills :
Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development.
Knowledge of robotics integration, sensors, and vision systems.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

This is a Permanent position based out of Miami Lakes, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00 / yr.
