Performs a complete physical exam and records findings. Collaborates with providers in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients. Synthesizes data to determine diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention. Administers medications and injections. Sutures minor lacerations. Instructs patients and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. Provides patient education. Maintains and reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information. Posts tests and examination results. Have a working knowledge of ICD9, CPT and HCPCS coding and managed care, and be available for training as necessary.
