SUPERVISOR PRODUCTION SCHEDULING

At SpaceX were leveraging our experience in building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink the worlds most advanced broadband internet system. Starlink is the worlds largest satellite constellation and is providing fast reliable internet to 7M users worldwide. We design build test and operate all parts of the system thousands of satellites consumer receivers that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing and the software that brings it all together. Weve only begun to scratch the surface of Starlinks potential global impact and are looking for best-in-class engineers to help maximize Starlinks utility for communities and businesses around the globe.

The Production Scheduling team is responsible for developing monitoring and fulfilling a Master Schedule to meet production part demands including launch manifest development spares and / or qualification units. The Supervisor role will train the production coordinators and schedulers to maintain the build schedules from cradle to grave for each unit and monitor the health of the system. This role allows for direct impact to production success and opportunities to engage with all aspects of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Coordinate and maintain production control team schedules across both shifts production processes safety and area standards
• Lead coach and mentor direct reports; write bi-annual reviews and manage corrective or disciplinary actions
• Lead efforts to transition product from engineering development to full rate production
• Provide daily visibility on schedule part shortage or resource performance
• Prepare work schedules and schedule analysis on critical path and variances escalation paths and suggest remediation activities
• Provide scheduling expertise to department company and other personnel as required
• Work closely with customers regarding shipments and daily schedule targets
• Perform fulfillment activities as needed to support production floor
• Work directly with engineering supply chain and resource Supervisors and Managers to resolve on going part shortages production rate plans development and new part bring up coordinate end of life for products / lines part kitting processes and general floor organization events
• Drive down near-term and future schedule risk by conducting work-center level capacity analysis identifying model and communication gaps that cause schedule slips and leading initiatives (reactive and proactive) that mitigate those risks
• Lead efforts to uncover root-cause and develop permanent resolutions on issues found during product builds as required to eliminate internal and external blockers to deliver product on time
• Identify and support improvement opportunities for product yield quality safety cost and team efficiency

Pay range :

Supervisor Production Scheduling : $105000- $135000.00 / per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations : job-related knowledge and skills education and experience.
