About the renovation technician position : We're looking for a talented renovation technician who will be responsible for developing and executing effective renovation schedules that turn units over to properties on time; ordering all necessary materials and keeping accurate records of all units and items utilized for each.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for renovating units which could include but is not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, repairs, cleaning, and painting
• Develop renovation schedules, monitor progress, and hold contractors accountable to strict production schedules
• Order project-related materials within budget guidelines; maintain accurate documentation of each ordered item
• Maintain constant communication with property managers and others as requested, providing daily project updates
• Ensure all contracted duties adhere to a detailed scope of work
• Inspect vacant units and inventory work to be performed adhering to the renovation process
• Negotiate pricing for all contracted work, including change orders, to stay within or below budget
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws
• Perform other duties as assigned
