Lead Event Specialist Part Time

Job Opportunity

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. This role involves acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, serving, demonstrating, intercepting consumers, and selling products in a professional manner. The associate is responsible for the event execution equipment in the stores and maintains a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.

Responsibilities include management and maintenance of the equipment and supplies used for events, communication with store management about upcoming events, and being the point person for all events being conducted in the store when the supervisor is absent. The associate assists the supervisor by providing leadership and knowledge to the team, gains adequate knowledge of the products represented, and proactively intercepts, engages, interacts, and sells products to consumers in a positive manner. The role also requires the ability to prepare and serve food samples, maintain a clean and sterile work station, and complete all work assigned.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, computer skills, food safety professional certification, and local food handlers permit if required. The employee will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and prepare foods using raw products. The associate will be the point of contact when the supervisor is absent and will work in a retail store environment with limited travel. A professional appearance and proper grooming are required.
