Key Roles & Responsibilities :
- Business Technology Strategy :
Develop and maintain the overall Business technology strategy and roadmaps .
Identify emerging technologies, trends and industry best practices to proactively advance capabilitiesEnterprise Architecture :Collaborate with cross functional teams and lead, develop and maintain target state architecture, reference architecture and Business technology roadmaps for ssigned domains .
Conduct periodic reviews of the current state architecture and identify potential areas of improvementsWork closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure that all initiatives and projects for the domain lign with the Enterprise architecture that was built to realize the company's vision and goalsctively research and understand emerging Technologies and how they can be applied to healthcare insurance, including industry trends and best practices.Participate the selection, implementation, and maintenance of tools and process that support the effective delivery of EA services.GovernanceContribute to the management of EA governance frameworks including Architecture Review Board and other technology governance efforts.
Develop technology standards, exception process and manage technology lifecycle and obsolescence risk managementVendor Management :Understand vendor capabilities stay current on vendor roadmaps
Support in development and evaluation of RFP, RFQ processSupport vendor contract negotiations and renewalsLeadershipPromote the value of EA to all levels of the organization, spreading awareness about the role in achieving strategic objective
Coach, mentor other Architects in the team and foster a culture of collaboration and innovationQualifications :
Education and Experience :B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred
3+ years of relevant overall experience in Enterprise architecture, strategy, and governance roles.Proven experience in defining, developing and implementing target state architecture and technology roadmapsStrong understanding of EA principles, frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc.Experience using architecture modeling tools and constructsExperience with briefing senior leadership teamsGood knowledge about Health Plan domain and Clinical data (preferred)Technical Proficiency :dvanced knowledge in technical infrastructure and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure)
In depth knowledge of complex architecture patterns including Microservices, Container platforms, API's, Data engineering platforms, Data Lake, Cloud Data Warehousing, Robotic process automationConversant with cybersecurity conceptsFamiliar with agile and Dev Ops FrameworkExperience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)Leadership Skills :Proven ability to develop and execute technology strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and lead juniors in the teamself-starter with strong consulting, communication and influencing skillsCommunication & Collaboration :Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex Business and Technology concepts to all stakeholders at various levels.
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partnersCertifications :Certifications in relevant areas (TOGAF, PMP, Cloud Architecture) is a preferred
Experience with IT governance and risk management frameworks and standards (ITIL, COBIT) is a plus
