Packaging / Forklift Operator

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Packaging / Forklift Operator in the Blair, NE area. This role offers a full-time, long-term opportunity with a leading chemical manufacturer. As a Packaging Operator / Forklift, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, responsible for a range of duties including operating forklifts, performing packaging tasks, and supporting the overall logistics of our supply chain.

$22.71 / hr + Benefits Offered | PTO & Holiday Pay

Schedule : 12-hour rotating day shifts 7a-7p, with 2 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off.

The first week of training, M-F 7 : 00-4 : 30

Responsibilities :

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials and products
• Perform packaging tasks such as sorting, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counting
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality assurance standards
• Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize the flow of materials and products
• This position requires working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with the ability to lift to 50 pounds and operate machinery, such as forklifts
