Key responsibilities

Data entry and management :

Accurately enter patient, clinical, payroll, and billing information from various sources into databases and systems.

Data verification and correction :

Review and correct data inconsistencies and errors to maintain accuracy and integrity.

File management :

Organize, file, and maintain both digital and paper records.

Reporting :

Generate reports or summaries from entered data as requested.

Confidentiality :

Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA regulations to protect sensitive patient information.

Communication :

Communicate with staff to clarify data requirements or report issues.

Administrative support :

Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Required skills and qualifications

Technical skills :

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Typing speed of 50+ words per minute with high accuracy is often preferred.

Experience with data entry software, CRMs, or EHR systems is a plus.
