Alabama State University, College of Business Administration, invites applications for the position of Assistant / Associate Professor of Economics. The successful candidate will teach within his / her academic subjects or disciplines and are responsible for successfully addressing established student learning outcomes in each course and section taught. Faculty will teach courses at times, locations and via modalities that best respond to student and departmental needs, and conduct research. advise students, and provide services to the university and the community.
Duties and Responsibilities :
An earned Ph.D. in Economics from an AACSB accredited college or university, have a quality portfolio of scholarly publications, and be Scholarly Academic (SA) at all times as per AACSB standards. ABD candidates with substantial progress on their dissertation may be considered.
It is to be noted that for the purpose of continuous improvement of faculty qualifications as faculty members complete advanced degrees, certifications, licenses, etc., the faculty member will send official documentation, within 45 days of hire, to the Office of Human Resources, and the credentialing file in Academic Affairs.
