Your Role :
As a Radiology Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic imaging exams with precision and care. Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare professionals, you'll ensure top-quality imaging outcomes.
Essential Functions :
- Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in all relevant clinical and technical functions.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and prepare patients for various exams.
- Conduct exams according to department protocols and review images for quality.
- Strictly adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete studies efficiently while ensuring high standards in patient care and image quality.
- Assist and instruct students and other techs in protocols and procedures.
- Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Implement infection control and sterile techniques diligently.
- Utilize equipment and information systems effectively for quality imaging.
- Keep precise records of patient information and procedures.
- Follow protocols for coding, charging, and reporting any equipment failures.
