Our growing office is looking for a dental assistant to join our busy practice, NEW OFFICE, and awesome Team.

We are looking for a team member who is fully engaged in our patients' care. You must be reliable, able to learn quickly, multitask, and be friendly. Responsibilities

• Document patient care in records. Keep patient information confidential
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow infection control policies
• Maintain dental equipment. Manage supplies inventory
• Assist the team as needed. Perform other assigned duties
• Meet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during an appointment
• Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
• Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
• Get treatment rooms ready for examination and procedures by equipping them with necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials
• Evaluate and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays of patients' mouths, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if needed
