Social Behavior Change Consultant

A company is looking for a Social Behaviour Change Communication Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive and context-specific Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) Strategy for Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA)

Conduct assessments to analyze knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding CSA among rural communities

Create community engagement tools and communication products to promote CSA practices and support the Climate Wise Women initiative

Required Qualifications

Advanced university degree in Gender Studies, Behavioural Science, Communications, Rural Development, or a related field; a bachelor's degree requires two additional years of experience

At least 10 years of experience in designing and implementing SBCC strategies for agriculture and climate programs

Working knowledge of English (level C)

Proven expertise with participatory behaviour change tools such as KAP and SNAP

Experience in Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) and knowledge of the socio-economic context of Iraq is advantageous
