Engineering Specialist - CNC Programmer

Position Summary : Perform the duties required to manufacture parts in a timely manner in compliance with quality standards. This includes evaluating parts and determining the best way to manufacture the part. Writing CNC programs using CAD and CAM software. Supporting the shop in troubleshooting and analyzing problems with part manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

The Engineering Specialist will be responsible for delivering results that include the following :

• Debug G code
• 3D modeling
• 5 Axis Programming
• Design holding fixtures used in CNC machining and create tool drawings
• Work and communicate effectively with multiple levels of the organization
• Interpret instructions furnished in written or oral form
