Part-Time Piano Accompanist 2025-2026

Job Title : Part-Time Piano Accompanist Wage / Hour Status : $40 per Hour

Reports to : Executive Director of Fine Arts Pay Grade : Hourly

Dept. / School : Fine Arts Department / Multiple Campuses Days : Maximum of 19.5 Hours / Week

Supervises : N / A

Primary Purpose : The piano accompanist will accompany school music ensembles during rehearsals and concerts assist the director in the leading of section rehearsals and concerts and the coaching of individuals and small ensembles.

Working Conditions :

Music classroom environment and concert stage - accompany groups soloists and small ensembles during day or evening concerts.

Mental Demands / Physical Demands / Environmental Factors :

Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress; Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer. Occasional prolonged and irregular hours. Subject to sitting at piano for long periods of time. Occasionally stand and / or stairs etc.
