Accountant

As an Accountant at RXO, you will perform and coordinate accounting responsibilities within our organization.

What your day-to-day will look like :

• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely compilation and recording of accounting information, analysis, and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies and procedures
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting closes for functional areas of responsibility, including related SOX compliance and external financial statement audit
• Accurately maintain general ledger accounts and respective reconciliations, including researching, understanding, and interpreting accounts and underlying activity, trends, and variances across a broad scope of accounting functional areas (e.g. revenue recognition, margin analysis, prepaids, accruals, subledgers, intercompany reconciliations, foreign exchange)
• Properly prepare and post journal entries in accordance with company policies
• Support the preparation and distribution of monthly accounting reports
