Overview
We are looking to hire an entry-level, Administrative Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting the overall workflow processes within the branch. This candidate will be the first point of contact for customers who are calling the branch. The position involves creating a variety of documents using word processing software, including letters, memos, forms, dictation, and certificates of insurance. Additional responsibilities include data-entry, managing incoming and outgoing mail and answering telephones. This position requires the candidate to be in the offce Monday-Friday and the work schedule is 7 : 30am-4 : 30pm. How you'll make an impact What a day will look like Create and format documents such as letters, memos, forms, reports and certificate of insurance. Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain and update records and databases. Process incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution and delivery. Prepare and type checks and forms as required. Maintain an organized filing system for easy retrieval of documents and records. Undertake various duties as assigned. Skills and experience that will lead to success Computer proficiency with MS Office suite Ability to learn new systems and tools Ability to solve problems and think independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to pay attention to detail while working under pressure Ability to organize, prioritize, monitor and control workflow, with close attention to deadlines Be energetic / have a sense of urgency About You Required Be able to work onsite, Monday-Friday 7 : 30am-4 : 30pm Experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint) Recent college graduate or high school diploma / GED Behaviors Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively manages / balances multiple and sometimes competing priorities.
