About the Role
We are hiring a Central Planner to join our Supply Chain team and take the lead on production scheduling, inventory alignment, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment. and take ownership of production planning. This role will support the execution of internal production plans by coordinating material availability, production timelines, and resource needs.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Supply Chain, this is a position with strong opportunities for growth. The person in this role will collaborate with department managers, inventory teams, and internal stakeholders across the production process to ensure that all components — from raw materials to packaging — are aligned and ready to meet shifting production demands.
The Central Planner will also play an important role in planning for and supporting compliance along the production path — helping ensure that materials, timelines, and documentation align with the requirements of a tightly regulated industry.

Production Planning & Coordination
- Develop, maintain, and communicate weekly production plans for in-house manufacturing, aligning with forecasts, material availability, and operational capacity
- Adjust production schedules as needed to account for supply disruptions, compliance changes, sales demand trends or shifting priorities
- Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly production workflows by collaborating closely with department managers across cultivation, inventory, supply chain, production, extraction, print, packaging, and sales
- Determine and communicate production priorities, especially during constrained situations, and escalate capacity or timeline risks to leadership
- Ensure production timelines align with compliance checkpoints and help flag issues that may impact regulatory adherence
Inventory & Material Planning
Analyze data from demand forecasts, inventory reports, ERP systems, and other planning resources to inform decisionsMaintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production needs — balancing just-in-time efficiency with compliance and operational continuityTrack and plan for both biomass and hard components (e.g., packaging) across all stages of productionRecommend and support best practices for inventory handling, storage, and replenishment based on data and operational insightsCoordinate with the Associate Director of Supply Chain on inventory strategy — executing changes thoughtfully and with close alignmentMonitor inventory aging and support FIFO execution to reduce obsolescence and maintain quality, while also supporting Sales’ strain variety goalsCross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with inventory team members and department managers to ensure production readinessCollaborate with operations, quality, supply chain, and customer service to ensure seamless production flow and timely deliveriesAlign production activities with customer needs, internal lead times, and regulatory timelinesAssist in identifying process gaps or inefficiencies and propose solutions based on supply chain trends and data patternsERP & Data Management
Use NAV and Dutchie systems to manage scheduling, inventory, and materials planningAssist with maintaining clean, accurate ERP data for BOMs, production orders, and planning parametersSupport ERP upgrades and optimization projects in coordination with cross-functional teamsUse Excel and reporting tools to analyze production and supply chain metrics, identify trends, incorporate sales demand trends and make informed planning decisionsBecome a super user of the ERP system and support implementation of new technologiesWork Environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Demands : Work is primarily completed in an office or on the production floor and warehouse. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience) strongly preferred3–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain coordinationStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExperience with ERP systems (NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central strongly preferred)Experience with other inventory or production planning systems a plusHighly skilled with Excel and other planning toolsExperience using Excel and data base tools to track and analyze informationAbility to resolve problems using established procedures and policiesLeverage underlying product / process knowledge to quickly assess changes, understand implications and determine solutionsExcellent communication and coordination skills across teams and functionsComfortable working independently while aligning closely with leadershipExperience in a regulated manufacturing environment (food, pharma, or similar)Ability to smoothly and quickly adjust to changes in company strategies / goalsPrevious experience or participation in ERP or systems upgrade projectsAbility to get and maintain valid MED badge in the state of Colorado
