Job Description
The Lehigh Valley Planning Commission (LVPC) and Lehigh Valley Transportation Study (LVTS) are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Administrative Assistant to support our Executive and Senior Leadership Teams.
This is a key role at the heart of our organization—providing high-level support, managing complex schedules, coordinating critical meetings, and facilitating internal and external communication. You’ll work across departments and with key stakeholders to keep our operations running smoothly, efficiently, and with a focus on impact.
Responsibilities include :
- Manage and maintain dynamic calendars and schedules for the Executive Team
- Coordinate internal / external meetings, public forums, and event logistics
- Serve as a key liaison to municipal officials, community leaders, and planning partners
- Track projects, support strategic initiatives, and help drive organizational goals
- Handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion
- Oversee general office functions and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Preferred qualifications include :
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred10+ years of professional experience , ideally supporting executive-level leadershipStrong written and verbal communication skillsTechnologically proficient (Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, databases, etc.)Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple prioritiesProfessional demeanor with a strong focus on customer serviceValid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S.Availability for occasional early morning, evening, or weekend meetingsSalary and Benefits
