HR Generalist Role
Responsible for maintaining accurate HR database records, conducting data integrity audits, identifying process improvements, and supporting HR management. This role ensures file accuracy, oversees onboarding processes, and drives operational efficiencies while supporting various HR projects and programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the electronic personnel file database by scanning and filing relevant documents.
- Ensure file accuracy through the maintenance of subfolders, transfers, and terminations.
- Administer the severance plan with detailed record keeping, processing, and program administration.
- Provide support to senior HR management by conducting research, running queries, and responding to employee requests.
- Create ongoing reports and coordinate with other departments to retrieve accurate data.
- Assist with new hire onboarding, including the completion of automated paperwork.
- Coordinate drug screening for new hires and manage the I-9 process for all employees.
- Identify areas for process improvement and research best practices for team implementation.
- Process transfers, job reclassifications, promotions, and other HR processes electronically.
- Support various HR projects and programs, including internal websites, onboarding, and payroll initiatives.
- Maintain organizational charts and generate related ad-hoc reports.
- Act as a connector between corporate and operational HR teams, contributing to projects beyond the immediate departmental scope.
