The Sourcing Manager for Husqvarna Construction in Olathe, KS is part of the Sourcing Management Team (SMT) as well as the Site Management Team and contributes to the development and refinement of the sourcing strategy for Husqvarna Construction Division (HCD). They contribute to HCD maximizing its short-, medium-, and long-term profitability and returns to its shareholders. The Sourcing Manager is responsible for driving all sourcing and procurement activities for the local site (Olathe), including, leading and managing the Olathe procurement and SQA team, project sourcing, ensuring procurement compliance and sustainability, coordinating operational sourcing, securing cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability aspects from suppliers. Sourcing is a crucial part of our operations, close collaboration between the sourcing team and the manufacturing operations / logistics department will be key to our success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing Management Team (10%)

• Represent the Olathe team in leadership team within Sourcing.
• Define the long-term strategy together with the Site Management Team to align sourcing activities broader business objectives and ensure effective communication; setting joint targets, aligning sourcing projects while understanding business strategies and demand forecast to proactively drive improvements.
• Define, Plan, execute and track sourcing targets and strategy for the team.

Strategic, Operational and Project Sourcing (60%)
