Position Summary

McCormick Taylor has an immediate opening for a Traffic Designer I. The ideal candidate will work as part of a team on a variety of traffic analysis and design needs for a variety of transportation projects for public agencies. Projects are likely to range from concept development and preliminary engineering studies to final design.

Responsibilities

• Support design efforts of signal plans, signing and pavement markings plans and traffic control plans
• Support analysis and traffic study efforts including data collection, traffic projections, Synchro, crash analysis
• Provide field data collection and / or field observations.
• Deliver quality projects in accordance with accepted schedule and budget
• Possesses and / or developing written and verbal communication skills
• Organized team player able to work efficiently under tight deadlines
