Job Summary : The Fleet Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining Kimray fleet equipment through regular maintenance and service.
Essential Job Functions :
Performs scheduled maintenance of Kimray fleet equipment including Material Handling Equipment
Construction Equipment
Custodial & Maintenance Equipment
Passenger Vehicles
DOT-licensed Fleet
Stationery Generation
- Performs diagnostics and repairs on electrical, gasoline, diesel, and LPG powered systems
- Completes assigned Repair Orders and documents results in Asset Management system
- Maintains database of work, time, parts, and results
- Maintains security and accountability for tools, equipment, and parts
- Maintains a clean work area
- Operates equipment safely
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and / or a Health Safety and Environmental team member
- Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
- Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge / skill
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
4 years experience as a technician requiredVocational education or additional trade training requiredExperience with three of these types of equipment preferredMust have demonstrated analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and accomplish objectives with minimal supervisionMust have proficient computer and technological skillsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram formMust have valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle RecordMust pass background check and drug screenMust have a desire to serve the organizationMust be a motivated student of the equipment and the companyCore Competencies :
