Position : Staff Accountant

Compensation : Starts at $60K annually

Job Summary : Under moderate supervision, the Staff Accountant position is accountable for tax, audit, or accounting functions of smaller engagements; with increased client contact, more complex technical challenges, and beginning supervisory responsibilities for the work of lower-level professional staff.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Master’s in accounting and CPA preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Well organized with good time management and multi-tasking skills
• Works well in a team environment and ability to maintain positive relationships with work teams and customers / clients
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Preferred experience using Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, UltraTax and Advance Flow
• Ability to work and think independently
• Must be able to develop working knowledge of in-house software packages.
• Pass a CJIS background check
