The owner of this steel fabrication and erection shop emailed me this morning letting me know that a project manager is becoming a pressing need.

They're growing fast and are looking for a project manager with AISC / AWS steel experience to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets for steel construction activities.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project alignment and communication.
• Lead and manage project teams to foster collaboration and high performance.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance standards on-site.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders on status and performance.
• Oversee contract management and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Allocate resources effectively to optimize project delivery and efficiency.
