Product Engineering Manager (onsite)

Estimated Duration : 12 months

Work Setting : % of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required :

• Availability to work % of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience in high-tech industry, product engineering, and / or IT work, including managing teams responsible for software, hardware design, engineering, and development functions (7+ years);
• Experience managing research and development activities related to the design and development of software or hardware products, including qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products;
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure fulfillment of product requirements, evaluate product performance, and transition products from development to commercialization;
• Experience assisting in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature updates, maintenance releases, and service pack releases;
• Experience acting as a technical consultant to the product organization, leading research, and prototyping innovative technologies and products;
• Experience ensuring alignment of the technology and architectural roadmap with the product / business roadmap;
• Experience in Product delivery, managing schedules, and tasks related to all aspects of product development.
