Robert Half is partnering with a leading global technology company to recruit an Event Content Project Manager . In this role, you’ll oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of content development for breakout sessions at large-scale industry events. You will collaborate with product marketing, senior leadership, session owners, and external vendors to ensure all content meets the highest standards and delivers an exceptional attendee experience.
Location : Seattle, WA (Onsite)
Duration : 3-Month Contract
Pay Rate : $40–$45 / hour
Hours : 40 hours / week
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination and completion of content development for assigned event breakout session tracks.
- Partner with product marketing, internal stakeholders, session owners, speakers, and external vendors to ensure high-quality, bar-raising content.
- Set and manage project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies; assign responsibilities and track progress.
- Schedule and facilitate content reviews with senior leadership and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports for upper management to communicate project health, risks, and dependencies.
- Collaborate on the creation of onboarding resources and conduct time studies at the end of projects to optimize staffing for future events.
- Lead discussions with stakeholders, including C-suite executives from Fortune 500 companies , ensuring alignment and timely execution.
- Support cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous process improvement for event content planning.
Required Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in event project management, event content coordination , or a similar role.Bachelor’s degree required; project management certifications preferred (PMP, PgMP, CMP, Prince2, etc.).Demonstrated experience managing timelines, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with internal and external partners.Preferred Skills & Tools
Experience managing content for large-scale events or technical conferences.Familiarity with event marketing concepts, practices, and processes.Strong proficiency with Asana and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Vendor management and budget tracking experience.High level of creativity, flexibility, and ability to navigate ambiguity.Top 3 Must-Have Skills
