Procurement Specialist II

Bio-Rad is looking for a Procurement Specialist II. This role is responsible for the procurement of indirect materials and services, issuing purchase orders, creating purchase requisitions, sourcing for high visible high impact indirect commodities, supplier negotiations on large volume / large impact indirect commodities, supplier performance management, contract review for conformance to policies, supplier selection / qualification, conducting supplier reviews and generating and delivering supplier performance report cards. You will represent Procurement on cross functional project teams, mentor and advise Procurement team members, create training material, create requests for supplier master data updates and invoice management.

How You'll Make An Impact :

• Prepare and issue purchase orders and purchase requisitions ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures and policies. Train Requisitioners and Procurement team members in purchase requisition creation and can assist Requisitioners and suppliers in invoice management. Act as internal advisor, influencing functional decision makers and budget holder about their spend.
• Source indirect services and goods of high visible high impact and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery capabilities, and reliability. Negotiates large volume / large impact supplier agreements. Resolves potential supplier problems.
• Investigating and resolving issues pertaining to supplier performance, purchase order set up, invoicing, supplier master data updates. Implement procurement strategies that help achieve Global Supply Chain goals.
• Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity. May participate in supplier audits and business reviews. Request and collect quality documents from suppliers.
• Creating supplier master data change requests.

Compensation : The estimated base salary range for this position is $94,100 to $129,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
