Accounts Payable Clerk

The full-time Legal Accounting Assistant in the Omaha and / or Lincoln, Nebraska office will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our personal injury law firm by managing key administrative tasks related to medical records requests and payments. You will process payments and enter critical data into our case management system, CASEpeer. Your work ensures that our legal team has timely access to the necessary medical records and financial information to move cases forward efficiently.

Main Purpose :

To assist with the accurate and timely processing of payments and to manage medical records requests for personal injury cases. This position ensures that all relevant records and payment details are accurately logged in our CASEpeer system to support the firm’s ongoing casework.

What to Expect :

You’ll work closely with our legal team in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Experience with CASEpeer is required, as it is our primary case management system. You will be responsible for handling sensitive medical and financial information, so attention to detail and confidentiality are key.

This is a full-time role, working approximately 40 hours per week at $25 hourly. The job will be performed in the Omaha Office.

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

Compensation : $25 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Processing payments for medical records and other case-related expenses.
• Requesting, tracking, and managing medical records from healthcare providers.
• Inputting accurate data into the firm’s CASEpeer case management system.
• Monitoring the status of records requests and following up with medical providers when needed.
• Assisting the legal team with additional administrative tasks as required.
• Communication with various providers.
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring.
• Fact-checking account data.
