Accounting Manager

The Technical Accounting Manager is an individual contributor responsible for leading the company's technical accounting, corporate accounting policy, and internal audit functions. This role requires deep US GAAP technical expertise, a high level of motivation, attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to partnering across the organization.

Responsibilities :

• Drive technical accounting excellence by researching, interpreting, and documenting complex accounting issues under U.S. GAAP.
• Develop, maintain, and implement corporate accounting policies to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Lead internal controls and audit initiatives by overseeing the internal audit program, assessing and strengthening internal controls, and supporting internal audit readiness.
• Provide expert accounting guidance on key business transactions and strategic initiatives.
• Champion process improvement and governance by identifying and implementing process enhancements, automation, and system improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and transparency across accounting operations.
• Foster clear communication and collaboration by delivering clear, well-documented accounting guidance, policy updates, and training while maintaining open communication across departments to support informed financial decisions.

Job Type & Location :

This is a contract to hire position based out of Portland, OR. Pay and benefits The pay range for this position is $64.91 - $72.11 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
