The Appointment Business Center Scheduler (Access Coordinator) answers telephones and coordinates appointments in a call center environment. The Appointment Business Center Scheduler plays a crucial role in our organization by supporting patient care activities. Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma / GED

Basic proficiency with computers (preferably MS Office)

Excellent telephone etiquette skills

General knowledge of office machines including printers and scanners

Level I : One (1) year of customer service experience

Level II : Two (2) years of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications :

Call center experience

Experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare environment

Knowledge of basic medical terminology

Schedules, reschedules, coordinates, and cancels appointments

Inputs and / or updates accurate patient information

Communications accurate and complete information

Must maintain strict confidentiality

Performs other duties as assigned

Salary Information :

Level I : $15.00 / hr ($31,200 yr)

Level II : $15.26 / hr ($31,740.80 yr)
