Staff Accountant

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Beverly Hills, California. In this role, you will focus on reconciling balance sheets and bank statements, as well as preparing and posting journal entries. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for 2-3 days in the office each week.

Responsibilities :

• Reconcile balance sheets and ensure all financial discrepancies are resolved.
• Perform bank statement reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and propose journal entries, and post them as needed.
• Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure financial data is complete and accurate.
• Collaborate with team members to address and resolve accounting issues.
• Utilize Excel to manage and process manual balance sheet tasks.
• Support corporate tax return preparations by verifying and organizing relevant documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.

Requirements - Proven experience with balance sheet reconciliations and bank statement reconciliations.
