Who You Are :

This Demand Planning position is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products (sustaining and new). The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for their customers, incorporating statistical modeling and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysts, and other sources (i.e. : Nielsen or other syndicated consumer data) to create a rolling 12 month forecast.

The Demand Planner acts as the first point of contact between the supply chain and the commercial organization and the SME for their business segments. This position leads monthly demand consensus reviews and is responsible for ensuring changes to the forecast are made and communicated in a timely manner, and overall forecast accuracy.

What You're Good At :

• Develop monthly demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation across a rolling 12-month horizon. This role will include communicating financial plans, forecasts and risks / opportunities in key meetings.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Communicate with sales, marketing, and customer finance teams to understand demand forecast drivers.
• Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
• Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning calling out any inventory risks or opportunities.
• Lead monthly demand consensus reviews across all assigned channels and product lines.
• Prepare and lead presentations for the monthly S&OP readout to SLT.
