Emergency Management Planner

Fire Administration Job

Salary : $48,671.20 - $60,839.00

Job Details : Under general supervision assists the Fire Department's Special Event Division in tasks related to special event planning and updating and maintaining the Special Events and Emergency Operations Plan and annexes. THIS POSITION IS GRANT FUNDED.

Essential Job Functions :

• Assist with development, updating and maintaining the City's Special Event and Emergency Operations Plan and annexes, including managing resources, organizing activities, coordinating resources, and training City staff in plan activities.
• Functions as the Asset Management Inventory Database Administrator responsible for maintaining a centralized asset tracking system.
• Coordinates and maintains a physical inventory of all department equipment, and property assets purchased with General Funds and Federal and or State awarded Grants, Asset Forfeiture and / or donations.
• Develops event action plans for City special events and coordinates preparation of presentation materials for senior management.
