Filler Operator

Anticipated wage $19.60 - $23.05 / hr.

SCHEDULE

Monday - Friday 3 : 00 pm - 3 : 15 am

SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Production Supervisor this person is responsible for the operation of

the Aseptic Filler and Heat Exchanger including the filling of Drums Totes Bag in a Box Bag in a Pail and

Jar Line Finished addition this person is responsible for the filling of drums and pails and reading

and interpreting product batching requirements for dumping ingredients. Skills will be acquired through

on the job training review of SOPs and working through daily responsibilities and challenges.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies safety rules procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to take action. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

• Follow all safety standards.

Start-up shutdown and sterilization of the Aseptic Filler.

Check all piping connections to assure proper flow is maintained.

Notify Production Supervisor Cook and Operator of operational status.

Maintain pre-determined rate of flow to filler.

Maintain proper operating temperatures per specifications.

Check all valves for correct positioning.

Check all filters for proper size and installation.

Follow proper start-up procedures check list as outlined in operators manual.

Maintain proper filler operational temperatures.

Assure adherence to product fill weight per specifications.

Proper documentation of materials used.

Start-up and shut down of Jar Line Rinser Filler Capper and Labeler.

Support Filling and Dumping operations when not running Aseptic or Jar Line product.

Cleaning and Sanitation of Aseptic and Jar Line equipment. Complete all sanitation

documentation as required.

Properly returns ingredients to Warehouse.

Maintains work area clean and always organized.

Have regular attendance and work appropriate number of hours to get the essential functions

completed.

Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to

successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Required physical demands are as follows :

Frequent hand finger and wrist movement to handle or feel objects tools or controls.

Reaching with hands and arms. Use of hands is required when banding a pallet of drums

together placing film stretch on product when writing out and placing a pallet tag on the

pallets and transferring of food ingredients to plastic pallets for staging.

Requires standing (80%) and walking (20%).

The employee frequently is required to talk listen / use hearing stand walk stoop kneel or

crouch and / or use repetitive hand motions.

The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.

Constantly lift up to 10 pounds may frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lifts up to

50 pounds

May be required to move drums weighing 340 to 600 pounds with assistance.
