Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Probate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all aspects of probate administration, from opening estates through final distribution. This role requires strong knowledge of probate court procedures, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

Prepare and file petitions, inventories, accountings, and other probate documents with the court

Draft correspondence, pleadings, and legal notices for attorney review

Manage deadlines and court calendars for probate matters

Communicate with clients, court personnel, and financial institutions regarding estate administration

Assist in gathering, organizing, and managing estate assets and records

Track case progress and maintain accurate case management records

Support attorneys in hearings and trial preparation when necessary

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a paralegal, with emphasis on probate or estate administration

Strong knowledge of probate laws, court filings, and procedures

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Paralegal certification or relevant coursework preferred
