Business Unit Accounting Manager (41239)

Our client is a growing security company looking for an Accounting Manager to lead accounting and financial reporting activities. Exposure to key business functions, you will partner with company leadership, and have the opportunity to move throughout the organization!

Responsibilities :

Manage monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for the business unit.

Prepare P&L statements and cost / variance analysis related to tech and systems integration.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and lead periodic inventory counts.

Act as the finance point of contact between the business unit and corporate teams.

Advise on revenue growth, cost control, and contract profitability.

Collaborate with sales, ops, and procurement to drive financial performance.

Support audit activities and identify process improvements.

Partner with product, engineering, and sales to align financial plans with business goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting required

5+ years of accounting experience

Strong GAAP knowledge, analytical, and problem-solving skills
