Job Description
Facilities Engineer job in Anchorage, AKLocation : Anchorage, AK strong>
Pay : $35-$38 / hr. W2 strong>
Type : 6-month contract strong>
JOB DESCRIPTIONRESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and install telecommunications facilities including cable racks, lighting, AC / DC power systems, and distribution.
- Provide technical support to engineering, installation, and operations personnel.
- Estimate installation labor time and materials, coordinate supplies, and provide installation support.
- Understand industry standards and compliance requirements such as Bell Core / Telcordia, IEEE, and NEBS.
- Possess a working knowledge of AC / DC electrical / electronic systems and engineering analytical skills for calculating and evaluating telecommunication infrastructure.
- Work with facilities and equipment such as Central Office infrastructure, transport, power and grounding equipment, and high-speed data network equipment.
