Data Protection technologies and business processes support the security of client personal information and business sensitive data. The Data Protection program serves the needs of Schwab by implementing data security best practices via technologies and methods that secure data in motion, data in use, and data at rest.

What you’re good at

The Specialist - Security Analytics & Operations is responsible for delivery of various data security operational processes related to Data Loss Prevention and Unstructured Data Management. They will perform process analysis to identify areas where DLP and Unstructured Data processes can be improved. They will partner with the team’s process owners to create and maintain current, accurate, and comprehensive process documentation, including control evidence, for all Data Protection processes.

Processes and responsibilities will include :

• Review existing process documentation and conduct simulated walkthrough with Data Protection owners.
• Completing daily queue of operational DLP and Unstructured Data events.
• Update and / or draft process documents on a periodic basis for all relevant Data Protection processes.
• Communicate requirements to Data Owners and stakeholders.
• Identify operational process issues and see resolution to the finish.
