Job Summary
The Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling and expediting on-time deliveries of finished products to customer’s jobsites. The Dispatcher will also assist production with entering backlog reports and communicating customer needs to production managers. This position will also be required to manage projects as needed.

Job Responsibilities
Prepares weekly schedule for shipment volume and proactively communicates plan externally to customers and internally with production teamsAdjusts schedule, as needed, to accommodate customer needsProactively communicate with customer their job status and product delivery scheduleResolves production schedule conflicts prior to shipment, ensuring on-time, error-free shipment and invoicingPrepare shipment documents, certifications and corresponding backup information for each shipmentReview and research new and existing transportation vendors; programs to reduce, replace and improve upon transportation costsMaintain vehicle maintenance and records on the TSC websiteHandle large volumes of phone calls in a timely manner while making accurate and precise decisions regarding prioritizing shipment pickups, deliveries, maintenance, etc.Ensures safety practices are being enforced including load securementActively participates in training and developmentPrepare and enter invoices and check received products using our software programGuide drivers and all outside haulers, coordinates with loading crew for next day deliveriesOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededJob Requirements
1+ years of dispatch experience preferredUnderstanding of safety and transportation requirementsDemonstrated written / oral communication skillsAbility to effectively manage time and resourceAbility to effectively communicate, verbally and in writingAbility to interface with peersBilingual, a plusProficient in Microsoft Office / Excel, Word, Outlook programsWilling to work flexible, and extended hours, if neededSAP experience preferredPrevious precast concrete experience a plusHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredCompensation
