Production Technician (3rd Shift)

The Opportunity

Description

Schedule : Weekend shift, Friday to

Sunday, 4am to 4pm

What

You’ll Do : Operate,

changeover, clean, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment

such as fillers, labelers, case packers, palletizers, blow mold machines,

wrappers, and forklifts.

Record

and document preventative maintenance activities, quality inspections,

downtime, and production metrics.

Adhere

to safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.

Identify

and communicate issues that impact production efficiency or quality.

Conduct

hourly quality checks to ensure all products meet company standards.

Inspect

raw materials before use to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Collaborate

with other departments (Maintenance, Quality Assurance, etc.) to optimize

performance.

Participate

in shift meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain

a clean, safe, and organized workstation.

Support

other production areas and cross-train as needed.

Experience Required for Your Success

What we’re looking for :

High

school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.

Prior

experience in a clean manufacturing environment preferred.

Basic

mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and root cause analysis

experience.

Comfortable

working in a high-speed production setting.

Ability

to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent

communication skills — both in-person and via radio.

Basic

computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus).

Forklift

experience preferred (training available if needed).

Must

be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Willingness

to work in varying environmental conditions (temperature changes,

humidity, etc.).
