Job Summary

Coordinate event-related operations for the Conference and Event Services team. Provide conference and event planning service to event stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Operations - 45%

• Coordinate and fulfill event-related operations including : invoicing, deposits, order office supplies, produce interior signage, monitor e-announcements and reconcile details with the corresponding event pages.
• Monitor and follow up on department email inboxes.

Conference and Event support - 25%

Room and Resource Scheduling - 20%

Website - 10%

Required Skills

Experience

Two years of work experience in the hospitality, public relations, or customer service industries.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred; CSEP and / or CMP preferred.

Additional Information

Travel : This position does not require any travel.

Work Environment :

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop and / or laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Expected Hours of Work :

Typically, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with the expectation to work specific schedules and hours as identified and communicated by management. Frequent evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This is a 40 hour per week, 12 months per year position.
