Under the direction of the Store Leader, you lead the merchandising team to set the stage for an exceptional visual experience. Both creative and strategic, you utilize your eye for design and energetic attitude to plan and communicate the overall merchandise design vision to your team. From seasonal floor plans to daily visual displays, you lead, direct and delegate the flow of product from receiving to the sales floor. Mentorship is also key. • Coordinate the execution of store displays, window changes, and all other aspects of visual merchandising
• Detail the store floor plan in coordination with the Area Visual Merchant
• Create and execute the weekly merchandising plan
• Accountable for accurate display maintenance to support operational processes and accurate customer information
• Conduct and / or facilitate weekly merchandising walk-throughs of the sales floor with management staff and appropriate sales associates
• Partner with the Store Leader to achieve store and company sales goals and work effectively with all other store and company associates in order to meet these goals
• Maintain an awareness of all product information, intranet communications, current advertising, promotions and catalogues, and communicate all pertinent information to store associates
• Promote and drive sales through effective associate training and development, customer service and satisfaction, fiscal responsibility and inventory control
• Evaluate and analyze the success of the merchandise plan with regard to sales and coordinate the implementation of changes, as needed
• Provide specific feedback about performance directly to associates, as well as, share observations with the Store Leader
