Responsibilities :
- Work 1 : 1 with children who have special needs in the home, community and / or schools.
- Run skill acquisition programs developed by the BCBA.
- Observe and track behaviors using a variety of data collection methods.
- Learn and implement PECs and / or assistive technology.
- Intervene with problem behavior and following the treatment plan.
- Write session notes at the end of session.
- Attend and participate in company meetings, team meeting, and / or trainings.
- Travel to different locations.
- Maintain RBT credential requirements as set forth by the BACB
- Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines
- Reliable transportation
- Physical requirements include but is not limited to : kneeling, bending, lifting up to 50 Ibs, running, walking, and standing.
Education and Work Experience :
Minimum of a Highschool Diploma, preferred bachelor's degreeValid CPR certification is required prior to starting sessions.Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferredSkills

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will utilize your core skills in patient care, medical documentation, and behavioral health to provide quality care to individuals with autism. Your premium skills in behavioral therapy, working with children, and data collection will be instrumental in implementing applied behavior analysis techniques. With relevant skills in behavior management, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, using your RBT certification and CPR training to make a positive impact. A Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma / GED is required for this rewarding role.
