Main responsibilities :

Manages the activities of the Claims Third Party to proactively identify complex claims and potential complex claims to expedite resolution; to act as a subject matter expert by providing guidance, assuring consistency while creating a culture of continual quality improvement designed to elevate overall claim mitigation results benefiting claimants and stakeholders; to develop and maintain close partnership with claims operations responsible for administering claims; to proactively foster a positive relationship and work with key resources to build best in class claims management delivery; coordinate / provide training, to provide technical / jurisdictional direction on claims adjudication; to maintain a diary on complex or high exposure claims; to work as key liaison with Operations, Safety, Finance, and other key internal business partners; to work as key liaison with insurance carriers, state agencies and other key external business partners, as necessary.

• Ensure compliance with Client Service Instructions with Third Party Administrator.
• Determine and delegate claims settlement and reserve authority.
• Provide technical support and education to the internal business partners and other customers in the Division on all related matters.
• Track, monitor and supervise workers’ compensation claims administration.
• Interact with Corporate Risk Management in administration of the program.

The salary range is $92,000 to $119,720 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
