GCP Migration ETL Developer

Job description We are seeking a skilled GCP migration ETL Developer to join our team for a critical project involving the migration of various databases to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and GCP, with a strong understanding of ETL processes and data migration. Proficiency in Python is a plus. The candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment.Required Qualifications : Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC, Richardson, TX, Indianapolis, IN, Hartford, CT, Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of educationAll applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.At Least 2 years of experience in ETL development and data migration.Proven experience with IICS and GCP.Experience with Oracle databases and SQL.Proficiency in Python is highly desirable.Experience working in an agile environment.Strong knowledge of ETL tools and processes.Expertise in GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Cloud Composer).Preferred Qualifications : Certifications : GCP certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.Familiarity with Python scripting for data processing.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
