Position Overview : The Plant Superintendent is responsible for leading the development and implementation of plant wide operational excellence initiatives in partnership with the Department Managers and Vice President Operations. This position reports directly to the Vice President Operations. Critical Success Criteria :

• Provide leadership through influence and indirect supervision of leaders to support manufacturing processes.
• Develop and execute performance objectives to drive operational excellence.
• Cultivate a culture of commitment to environmental & safety excellence and responsible plant operations.
• Mentor and develop production supervisors and operational staff.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to allow for time with night shift employees.
• Build a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, teamwork, professionalism, and accountability across all functions to ensure business objectives are met.
• Engage and develop core competencies in the operations team through training, coaching and consistent performance feedback.
• Ensure employees follow safety and environmental health procedures to help protect people and the environment.
• Drive efficiency and productivity within the department while ensuring employee safety, environmental health and quality.
• Assist with all major downtime events and be available for off-shifts.
• Possess the ability to use data to manage actions, as well as coach performance of teams.

Compensation Information : Salary Range : $110,374.41 to $182,014.46. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive plan which is determined by the achievement of strategic objectives. The market rate for the role is typically at the midpoint of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as candidate qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
