Warehouse Mobile Staging Attendant

Collections Operation Support

Provides support to the collections operation by performing set-up activities of supplies and equipment at fixed sites or mobiles. Performs drive support activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs set-up activities of supplies and equipment at fixed sites or mobiles
• Loads and unloads trucks and other vehicles
• Organizes and maintains up-to-date records of inventories
• Handles and stores hazardous material inventory in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Drives blood collection vehicles to transport required supplies, equipment, blood products and staff to and from mobile sites.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous truck driving experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS :

Florida class B CDL driver's license and good driving record required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Functions involve the periodic performance of moderately physically demanding work, usually involving lifting, carrying, pushing and / or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (up to 50 pounds). Tasks that require moving objects of significant weight require the assistance of another person and / or use of proper techniques and moving equipment. Tasks involve climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS :

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.

Functions are regularly performed inside and / or outside with potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances. Employee will experience close / small work spaces on mobile unit buses. Vibration and motion are common on mobile unit buses. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
