The School of Agriculture at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for two highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral research fellows to join our interdisciplinary team focused on advancing the understanding and mitigation of methane emissions from cattle. These positions offer an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in sustainable agriculture, animal science, and environmental stewardship. These are one-year temporary appointments with a possible annual renewal for up to three years. The start date for the appointments is as early as March 1, 2025.

Required Education
A terminal degree in animal science or a closely related agricultural science discipline is required by the appointment date.
Other Desirables
Applicants familiar with feed science and nutrition strategies for reducing methane, experience in experimental design involving food animal species, and knowledge of agricultural greenhouse gas mitigation strategies will receive special consideration.
